Mondriaan, F.H. Mondriaan, Frits Mondriaan was born in Den Hague on the 16th of april in 1853 and he died in Rijswijk on the 16th of december in1932. Frits Mondriaan was a self-taught painter, commercially successful in his time. He is known for the being the uncle of the famous Neo-Plasticist artist Piet Mondriaan. Due in part to his close relationship with Piet, the art of Frits Mondriaan gained renewed interest, and is widely enjoyed by collectors.
