Viegers, Ben Viegers was born1886, in The Hague, died 1947 in Nunspeet.
Painter of landscapes,landscape with figures,, waterscapes, urban landscapes
and harbourscenes.
It wasonly in 1989 that the works of Viegers, a painter of typical Dutch scenes,
appeared in the auction rooms. In 2001 a retrospective of this output was held at
the Stedelijk Museum in Zwolle.
